And the next major event is already casting its shadow: on four evenings, the community is holding a “cultural summer” for the first time in the open air.

Graefelfing - It

starts on Friday, July 16, from 7.30 p.m. with the Wellküren and their program “Des werd scho wieder”. Moni, Vroni and Burgi come from the 17-member folk musician family of the village school teacher Hermann Well and his wife Gertraud from Günzlhofen, who also produced the Biermösl Blosn and the Well-Buam. The Wellküren can now look back on a 35-year career as a cabaret troupe,

On Sunday, July 18th, the songwriter Sarah Straub will follow, who will present songs from her first German CD "Tacheles". She has already won the German Pop Prize and toured with Lionel Richie and Spandau Ballet. But she was not happy in pop, the 34-year-old found her own musical home in German music in the tradition of Konstantin Wecker, Hannes Wader and Reinhard Mey. She began a close collaboration with Konstantin Wecker, which resulted in a joint concert on the BR show “Z'am Rocken”. The harpist and musical director of the show, Graefelfinger Franziska Wagner, will bring Sarah Straub onto the stage at Eichendorffplatz with a surprise guest from 8 p.m.

On Friday, July 23rd, the “BR Brettl Spitzen” will continue from 7.30pm.

For the first time, the newcomers from the high-rated show on Bavarian TV can also be experienced live.

They will be presented by BR presenter Jürgen Kirner in a Bavaria premiere.

The closing event on Saturday, July 24th, is entitled “Summer colors of classical music and a musical journey to Latin America”.

The Horn Quintet of the Munich Philharmonic will play from 7.30 p.m. and, in addition to classic summer pieces, has also dealt with yodellers and Bavarian orphans.

After them the group Los Pitutos plays South American folk music, boleros and cumbia.

A comprehensive hygiene concept was developed for the “cultural summer”. There are specified walking routes and fixed seating, as well as recording of contact data via the “Luca app” or “May I come in” at the entrance. An FFP2 mask is required on the entire site. There is no gastronomic offer, but drinks and food may be brought along on a small scale (no glass bottles!).

Tickets for the "Kultursommer" are available in Graefelfing in the Kohler bookshop (Bahnhofstrasse 110, Tel .: 85 35 42) and the Wort.Schatz bookshop (Bahnhofstrasse 95, Tel .: 85 37 00), in Planegg in the Phantasia bookshop ( Bahnhofstrasse 31a, Tel .: 89 93 02 50) and in the town hall (Pasinger Strasse 8), in Krailling in the community library (Margaretenstrasse 53a, Tel .: 55 06 05 18), in Gauting in the Bosco community center (Oberer Kirchweg 1, Tel. : 45 23 85 80) and in the Evangelical Parish Office (Ammerseestrasse 15, Tel .: 850 11 98) as well as in all Munich Ticket advance booking offices.
