New car-ramming attack in the Oise.
During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a bar-tabac in Beauvais, located in the commercial area of Allonne, was burglarized by a group of individuals who had come to steal cartons of cigarettes before fleeing with the steering wheels of large engines.
"An investigation for theft committed in an organized gang was opened and entrusted to the judicial police of Creil", indicates the prosecutor of the Republic of Beauvais, Caroline Tharot.
Two hours before the opening of the business, around 4:50 am, a group of six individuals arrive in front of the establishment in three cars.

"One of the three vehicles backed up multiple times to damage the metal curtain," says Caroline Tharot.
After creating a breach, individuals enter the tobacco and trigger the alarm causing at the same time "the diffusion of a blinding powder".
A theft estimated "between 10,000 and 20,000 euros"
"The occupants, hampered in their progress, however seized cartons of cigarettes, with an estimated value at this stage between 10,000 and 20,000 euros," said the magistrate. Before leaving, they spray the interior of one of the vehicles with a fire extinguisher to remove any possible traces. Chased by the police, who arrived very quickly on the spot - they nevertheless manage to throw them away by throwing fire extinguishers on the road and thanks to their cars equipped with powerful engines.
One of them will be found charred in Gisors, a town in the Eure region located about forty kilometers from Beauvais. Last April, four ram car attacks - targeting three tobacconists and an ATM - were recorded in less than five days in a small area between Creil and Clermont. While the trail of a probable same team was emerging, the investigation has since been entrusted to the research section of the gendarmerie of Amiens (Somme).
