Drivers can register via WhatsApp or WeChat SMS from July 12
Taxi and public light bus drivers can send SMS via WhatsApp or WeChat to 9465 1172 from next Monday (12th), and provide their name, Hong Kong Identity Card number, driver ID number and contact phone number for registration.
Drivers who have successfully registered will receive a registration number and can call or send SMS to the selected health center to make an appointment two working days after obtaining the number.
The Transport Department urges the industry to actively participate in physical examinations and vaccinate as soon as possible to protect personal and public health and reduce the risk of the spread of the virus in the community.
