Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and put pressure on the occupation

Occupied Jerusalem-SANA

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes against the Palestinians and hold those responsible to account.

According to Wafa Agency, the ministry criticized in a statement today the suspicious international silence towards the continuing crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation and its settlers against the Palestinians and their land, property and holy sites, stressing that this silence, especially from countries that claim to be keen on human rights principles, encourages the occupation to continue its crimes.

The Foreign Ministry drew attention to the multiplicity of forms of Israeli violations and crimes against Palestinians, including the theft of their lands, demolishing and displacing their homes, incursions into Palestinian cities, towns and villages, especially the occupied city of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and targeting the health and agricultural sectors, explaining that these attacks are war crimes in accordance with international laws and covenants.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their incursions into Palestinian cities and towns in an attempt to displace Palestinians from them and expand settlement operations, amid the international community’s contentment with statements of condemnation, without taking any serious action to protect the Palestinians and forcing the occupation to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy.
