The software company SAP does not come to rest.
Another member of the works council has resigned from his position.
It is already the second case of this kind. The employment relationship has also ended.
Walldorf - The affair of alleged irregularities at the SAP works council is drawing in circles. A works council member, who was also a member of the supervisory board until the end, resigned his office with immediate effect, announced the software company based in Walldorf on Thursday. At the same time, SAP and the man mutually agreed to terminate the employment relationship. "Both sides have agreed not to disclose any further details," the software company said. The "Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung" and the "Business Insider" had previously reported on the resignation.
Some time ago, the company's former works council head first vacated his post. He has since been terminated by the company. The software company had already initiated internal investigations against both former employee representatives in the past. In the course of an investigation into his works and supervisory board colleagues, the former works council boss is said to have "made it difficult to clarify the matter in several ways, suppressed circumstantial facts" and tried to "prevent the truth from being ascertained", according to the documents available to the German press agency.
SAP investigated the colleague who had now left the company internally after a whistleblower informed him. The Heidelberg public prosecutor is also examining the allegation of attempted fraudulent proceedings in connection with an allegedly manipulated supervisory board election. dpa
