At around 11 a.m., a woman rang the doorbell of an elderly senior citizen on Forchheimer Strasse in Nuremberg *.
The stranger had a handkerchief with her and told the old lady that she wanted to hand it over to a neighbor.
She then asked the elderly woman for a piece of paper to leave a message.
The elderly woman then let the woman into the apartment.
However, the elderly woman had doubts and asked the stranger to leave her apartment around noon.
When the uninvited guest disappeared, the resident found that the cash and jewelry had disappeared.
Apparently an accomplice had sneaked into the apartment and stole the items.

The woman was around 40 years old, between 1.55 and 1.60 meters tall, had a strong figure and neck-length hair.
She wore a gray top, black pants and had a beige fabric bag with a print.
She spoke German with no recognizable accent.
