The Suwaida Savings Bank has started a new lending plan for the third quarter of the current year, amounting to one billion and 200 million pounds, through the main headquarters of the bank’s branch and its office in Salkhad city.
The director of the Suwayda Savings Bank branch, Bassam Al-Saleem, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the process of granting loans takes place after preparing the required forms based on the instructions in this regard, with facilities that started months ago so that the age of sponsorship for state employees is accepted up to 60 years instead of 55 years, and for civilian and military retirees until 55 instead of 50 years, in addition to accepting the total years of service for the guarantors with three years instead of five years.
Al-Saleem added that the loan ceiling for state and military workers is 2 million pounds, and for civilian and military retirees, 1 million pounds, and grants are made in proportion to their salaries and pensions.
During the first half of the current year, the branch of the Sweida Savings Bank and its office in Salkhad granted loans worth 2 billion and 322 million pounds to people with limited incomes, benefiting 2331 borrowers.
