To celebrate the full opening of the Tuen Ma Line on June 27, the MTR has sent out 100,000 one-way tickets, and citizens can use the MTR mobile app to register from 2 o'clock this afternoon on a first-come, first-served basis.
Passengers who successfully collect their tickets need to go to the digital service station of the designated MTR station or via the Octopus mobile app to receive a free local one-way ride on or before January 31 next year.
If citizens want to receive free tickets, they must first become registered users of MTR Mobile and enter the program to receive related rewards from 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Each registered user can get at most one free ride.
Users who successfully grabbed the free ride cannot use it directly. They must bring an MTR Mobile registered account and a valid Octopus to the designated MTR station before January 31 next year and receive it via the digital service station or the Octopus APP.
