The social conflict is deepening in the heat of the crisis, the electoral campaign and the errors of the Executive.

This Thursday, a perfect storm of mobilizations returned the intensity of the prepandemic for a while to the center and south of the City and Greater Buenos Aires.

Another time there were

cuts in the Obelisco

, a camp at the height of the Ministry of Social Development, roadblocks in Avellaneda, which forced the closure of the Constitución station and the eviction of an intake in Lomas de Zamora from a piece of land, which was property of the State. The Government had problems with the liquidation of almost

100,000 employment plans

, a detail that put social organizations on alert.

The

Piquetera Unity Front

, which brings together 35 organizations with an opposition profile, held a demonstration to demand an increase in the minimum living and mobile salary, on which the salary of the employment plans charged by one million Argentines and that depends Alberto Fernández's administration doubled in 19 months of management. There were access cuts in 18 provinces.

The Executive's decision to advance by decree the increase in

the minimum and complementary social wage (35%)

for September did not convince organizations such as the Polo Obrero and Barrios de Pie-Libres del Sur, which mobilized first for Social Development and then for the Obelisk.

Although both movements reject an electoral position, both organizations will play electorally.

FIT-U

and the latter with

Social Development Minister

Daniel Arroyo

had received the leaders of the piquetero front on June 25 after the massive mobilization a week earlier.

Until the Ministry of Social Development, meanwhile, the

Polo Obrero-Tendencia

was mobilized

, the fraction led by

Eva Gutiérrez

and is referenced in a historical of the Partido Obrero as

Jorge Altamira

, away from the current party leadership.

They protested the error in the liquidation, which caused

more than 90 thousand beneficiaries of the complementary social salary

not to collect all of the

$ 12,786

that corresponded to them for their June salaries.

They threatened to camp overnight in front of the ministry if the secretary of Social Economy and in charge of the Power Work (the jobs program)

Emilio

Persico - in turn leader of the Evita Movement - did not commit in writing to receive them next week.

“We want to live with a job and a salary.

This is not how it goes.

You have to create work, "said Gutiérrez.

They finally left.

Paradoxically, the social organizations of the ruling party and even

Sergio Massa

pose the same thing, although with nuances.

The discussion to modify the

model of work plans

for one of net employment threatens to become an axis of the electoral campaign.

In the dependency that Persico leads, they recognized that there were errors in the settlement and that they will be corrected with a

complementary payment

on July 20. "If they don't pay, those of Evita will be with us," said the Left militants who today marched to the obelisk. The social movements of the ruling party are silently pressing for their places in the list of the Frente de Todo. They promote for the list of national deputies

Daniel Menéndez

, maximum reference of Barrios de Pie (Somos), Social Development official and ally of Evita.

"An update was made of the Empower Work register. The holders had to update their data. It is part of the process of transforming social plans into work," explained Social Development sources to justify the delays in payments.

The combo of marches - which were added to the camp in front of the Casa Rosada that began on Tuesday and will conclude this Friday to ask for the release of

Milagro Sala

(and that this Thursday included a fireworks festival) was completed with the roadblocks of outsourced workers dismissed. The measure of force paralyzed the route of the Gral. Roca line and forced the Constitución station to close for hours. As if that were not enough, in Retiro there was a protest by private security workers, which included blocking of ticket offices and windlass release.

Eviction of the Gendarmerie in Lomas de Zamora.

The tension was also felt in Lomas de Zamora. In the vicinity of La Salada, this morning Gendarmería executed a

judicial eviction

ordered by the federal criminal and correctional court number 2 of the district, in charge of Federico Villena. The operation included the destruction of material houses and was required by the Central Market, owner of the 4-hectare property, and there were five detainees. The Matanza Riachuelo Basin Authority, led by Martín Sabatella, was studying the possibility of installing a water treatment plant. To protest the eviction and the arrests, protesters tried to cut La Noria Bridge, which was controlled by the Buenos Aires city.
