UEFA is investigating the fact that a laser was aimed at the goalkeeper at the key moment of England's victory in the Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark on Wednesday.
A laser was aimed directly at Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel's face as England captain Harry Kane prepared to shoot a penalty in overtime.
Schmeichel saved the penalty, but Kane bounced on the rebound and his goal was decisive in the 2-1 victory that secured England's pass to Sunday's final against Italy.

The governing body of European football said it had opened disciplinary proceedings and accused England of using a "laser pointer by its supporters".
UEFA said its disciplinary investigation will also examine "disturbances" caused by England supporters during the national anthem and the lighting of fireworks by their fans.
The ITV network, which televised the match in the UK, showed images of a green laser pointed at Schmeichel's face.

"Whoever he is is an idiot ... he's stupid and he doesn't deserve it," said ITV host Mark Pougatch.
"That kind of thing, nobody wants to see it."
Following the incident, the English Football Association team collaborated with UEFA to try to find out who had used the laser device.
"The representative of the Danish Football Association confirmed to the UEFA match director that he did not wish to take the matter further," according to the English Federation.
The Danish Football Union did not immediately respond to CNN Deportes' request for comment.
The disciplinary case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Discipline Committee.
Schmeichel had an impressive game for Denmark, most notably stopping a header from Harry Maguire.
Boris Johnson congratulates the England team
For his part, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson congratulated England's players and team coach Gareth Southgate.
"I think it was an extraordinary game, and obviously I don't think I've ever seen an English team play with such creativity, style and versatility and keep moving forward," Johnson told reporters Thursday.
"It was a very exciting game. I don't know about you, but when we received that goal at the beginning and then we tied, and then we continued until overtime."
"It could have gone wrong at any time, but it didn't and it was just euphoric. Absolutely extraordinary. So I congratulate Gareth Southgate and the whole team. I think they have been impressive and obviously I wish them all the best for Sunday."
Later on Thursday, the UEFA Referees Committee announced that Dutchman Björn Kuipers would referee Sunday's final.
This will be the seventh final of a UEFA competition for Kuipers, according to the governing body of European football.
