United Nations: Eliminate 4 of the killers of the Haitian president and arrest 6 others

The United Nations Special Envoy for Haiti, Helen La Lyme, confirmed that 4 people involved in the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise were eliminated and 6 others were arrested.

And the media quoted La Lyme as saying, after the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Haiti today, that it had information "about a group of potential criminals who are currently surrounded by the Haitian police in two buildings."

The envoy explained that Prime Minister Claude Joseph will remain the interim leader of the state until new elections are held, calling on the political parties to put aside their differences and "find a common way forward and peacefully overcome this difficult stage."
