Federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti decided that there is no crime in the file investigated by the VIP Vaccination, although she considered that the authorities of the Ministry of Health involved should continue to be investigated, among which is the former Minister of Health Ginés González García.
The measure thus reaches the so-called "VIP vaccinated" who applied the first dose of Sputnik V in mid-February in a specially armed vaccination center within the Ministry of Health, and among whom stand out the journalist Horacio Verbitsky, the former president Eduardo Duhalde, his wife Hilda González, and legislators Jorge Taiana and Eduardo Valdés, among others.
This is the cause originated as a result of the scandal that Clarín announced on February 19, when it was learned that officials and relatives had received the first dose of the vaccine without being part of the plan and in the Health offices themselves, where they were vaccinated by the Posadas Hospital authorities.
