The sales of the General Company for the Cement and Building Materials Industry in Hama during the first half of this year amounted to about 63 billion Syrian pounds, resulting from the sale of 545 thousand and 455 tons of cement.
The company's general manager, Ali Jabo, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the company produced during the first half of the year 540,570 tons of cement and 395,009 tons of clinker, indicating that the company's current stock is 19,627 tons of cement, compared to 1,516,479 tons of clinker.
He pointed out that the company also sold, during the past six months, about 300,000 blocks of various sizes required in the local market at competitive prices, noting that the company is currently working to increase the production capacity of the block production unit to cover the increasing demand from the private sector and due to its realization of a good economic rent that contributes to increasing The company's financial resources.
It is noteworthy that the profits of Hama Cement Company during the past year amounted to 9 billion and 900 million Syrian pounds.
