At about 11 am today (10th), the charger of a unit in Tin He Building, Tin Ping Village, Sheung Shui exploded, producing sparks. A couple in the house suffered injuries to their hands and neck during the suspected fire fighting.
The two reported the case by themselves for help, and ambulancemen arrived and sent them to the North District Hospital for treatment.
The reporter saw that the couple’s left hand was bandaged, and the man’s coat had blackened marks.
