The Daraa Fire Brigade, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate, put out last night a large fire that broke out in the military housing in the city of Izraa in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, where the damage was limited to material.
Colonel Muhammad Mahamid, the commander of the regiment, said in a statement to SANA reporter that 4 fire engines from Daraa, Dael, Sheikh Miskeen and Mahja participated in putting out the fire, which resulted in the burning of an entire house, as it was controlled very quickly so as not to extend to other houses, indicating that cooling operations are currently being carried out to prevent renew it.
Yesterday, the Daraa Fire Brigade, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in the governorate, put out a fire that erupted in the herbs and reeds in Wadi Al-Ash'ari near the water pumping stations that feed many residential areas.
