Kwun Tong District Councillor Leung Hoi Ching was sentenced to 4 months in jail in May of this year for participating in the June 4th rally in 2020 and lost her qualifications as a district councilor.
She wrote in the prison letter stating that she had been verbally intimidated when she entered the Luohu Correctional Institution on May 28, and applied to the staff of the Correctional Services Department to transfer the single warehouse, but it was not approved for a long time. "Insufficient justification" was rejected.

The Chief Correctional Officer told her that she didn't have to report to the Justice of the Peace when she transferred the position, and said that she had not received the application form.

After the application, Liang Kaiqing said that a security guard asked her fellow prisoner: "Has Liang Kaiqing ever worked hard? Has he overheated?" She was puzzled: "The question is related to my verbal intimidation in the first June?"
By June 22, Liang Kaiqing was told that the application was not approved because of "inadequate rationale."
