“The city of Saint-Brieuc calls on users to be extremely vigilant. We are told that direct sellers are coming forward on behalf of LINKY in order to “update the LINKY meter”. These people do not present any sign or proof allowing them to identify their belonging to a company. The city recommends not to be impressed (...) and never to leave your interlocutor alone, ”

Enedis does not carry out

In France, 32.5 million Linky meters are installed (90% at the end of the year of the 37 million households).
Enedis recalls on its site that it does not carry out
"any commercial canvassing"
and that its services relate only to the electrical connection, the installation of the Linky meter, the electrical troubleshooting after a power cut, the commissioning of the electricity contract and the reading of old electricity meters.
