Malaysia recorded a record number of coronavirus cases for the second consecutive day.

Reuters reported that the number of new infections reached 9,353, bringing the total to 827,191, while the number of deaths remained constant at 5,980.

It is noteworthy that Malaysia and many other Asian countries have tightened closure and general isolation measures with the increase in the number of infections with the Corona virus and the outbreak of the mutated Delta strain.
