The Idlib Health Directorate opened today the Khan Sheikhoun Health Center in the liberated Idlib countryside, after rehabilitating it to provide free treatment and health services to the people of the area and neighboring villages.
Dr. Hassan Jabara, Idlib Health Director, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the center includes several clinics, including pediatric and dental clinics, leishmaniasis treatment and others, and a cadre of nurses, midwives, pharmacy technicians and laboratories works in it, pointing out that the building consists of three floors, one of which was designated as a health center and another as the headquarters of the Idlib Health Directorate. .
In turn, Dr. Mazen Najm, head of the supervisory area of Khan Sheikhoun in the Idlib Health Directorate, indicated that the center contains a general clinic, another for children, a special section for nursing and provides first aid, as well as a pharmacy to dispense various medicines, in addition to the vaccination program for children.
Dr. Hiam al-Kamel, head of a mobile team to treat leishmaniasis in the liberated Idlib countryside, indicated that the team provides daily treatment services for leishmaniasis patients and diagnoses their injuries, especially in the remote areas of the Khan Sheikhoun area.
