Railway services in Iran were disrupted tonight (Friday) by alleged cyberattacks, with hackers carrying out the phone number of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to get more information about the attack, the country-affiliated news agency reported.
An announcement about the schedules at the stations asked the passengers to call a number that actually belongs to the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the Iranian Broadcasting Authority "IRIB" and the official news agency Fares reported.
"Long delays due to cyber attacks," read another post about the schedules at the stations.
