A human rights report revealed the continuation of human rights violations in the detention centers of the Turkish regime, especially those related to humiliation, starvation and psychological violence.

According to the report prepared by the investigation committee of the Turkish Human Rights Association, which reviewed the conditions of prisoners in the prisons of "Van, Izmir Ali Aga and Manman", according to what the Turkish newspaper "Zaman" reported, "Prisoners complained that they had not been allowed to meet with anyone for 18 months... in addition to a complaint about addressing prisoners in a way that degrades human dignity, sometimes reaching the level of threat.”

The report indicated that there are 26 people in one cell that accommodates only 14 people, indicating that the Turkish regime authorities ignore local and international reports on violations in Turkish detention centers and threaten to prosecute those who touch on the subject.

Earlier, the Vice-President of the Republican People's Party, Akkosh Ilgazdi, had revealed that the prison population in Turkey had exceeded the population of 27 provinces in the country.

It is noteworthy that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has turned Turkey into a large prison and prison in which he has imprisoned large numbers of his opponents from various civil, military and media institutions, and dismissed thousands of their jobs under the pretext of supporting the protests and their association with the coup attempt.
