A bad accident happened on Sunday at the Achensee.
A woman, 29, apparently from Germany, died at the scene of the accident after an unsuccessful overtaking maneuver.

The four people were injured with varying degrees of severity and flown to the Agatharied hospital (Miesbach district) by rescue helicopter or driven to the Schwaz hospital in an ambulance.
Bad accident near Achenkirch: B181 closed for over three hours
The Jenbach police gave details of how the accident happened.
The accident occurred around 2:25 p.m. shortly after the end of the Achensee near Achenkirch on the B181.
According to the police, the accident driver tried to overtake another car on a solid line in her Audi.
Another car came towards her at the same time.
The woman's Audi then first collided with the car she was trying to overtake and turned across the lane.
The oncoming car hit the car on the driver's side.

The car was torn in two.
The B181 (Achenseestrasse) was closed for over three hours.
The volunteer fire brigades Achental and Achenkirch with 50 emergency services, two rescue helicopters, several ambulances from the Schwaz district and Germany as well as the police and towing service were in action.
