A young woman was strangled by her partner, who took his own life three hours later by hanging from a strap in the house using a rope armed with leather straps.
The femicide followed by suicide occurred in the Corrientes city of Santo Tomé and was
discovered by chance
because the girl's mother traveled from Buenos Aires to visit her.
Nancy Roxana Viano was 19 years old and for a year she lived with César Daniel Quiroz, 20, with whom she had
a relationship marked by arguments and fights
, although there was never a complaint to the Police.
The judicial investigation was triggered on Friday morning when the woman arrived at the property at 100 Centeno Street and found the property completely closed.

once the femicide was completed, Quiroz opened a bottle of wine and consumed half of the drink.
Three hours later, he tied a rope to a strap, climbed onto a bunk bed, and ended his life.
The young man was found with a naked torso and jean pants.

The researchers were struck by the fact that the couple's cell phones were not found in the house.

Friends of the couple said that the girl finished high school last year at the Normal School and worked in a store in Santo Tomé.
Quiroz, meanwhile, was in his last year at a technical school.
Young people used to upload photos of both of them on their Facebook accounts.
"I love you," Nancy wrote in the last public post on June 16.
He replied, "I love you very much."
In the last ten years in Argentina there is an average of one femicide every 30 hours.
According to statistics from the Office of Domestic Violence of the Supreme Court, in 2018 alone there were 278. Most murders occur in the homes of the victims and are committed by partners or exes.
