After countless words, analyzes and headlines, the moment of truth has arrived. The Italian and English teams went to the grass at Wembley Stadium tonight (Sunday) for the Euro 2020 final, at the end of which one of them will lift the trophy. Both teams showed dominance throughout the tournament, and did not lose even once. For the Three Lions team this is the first ever final at the European Championships, and their first appearance in a major tournament final since the 1966 World Cup, when they won at home stadium. Regionals are looking for a second win in their history in the Euros.
Roberto Mancini's team did not particularly impress in the semi-final against Spain, but managed to survive after a successful penalty shootout and now faces its final task in the tournament. The Italians are of course missing Leonardo Spinacola, who was injured in the quarter-final against Belgium when Emerson fills his place again and in fact there is no change in Mancini's 11th. On the other hand, the English of course enjoy the support of most of the crowd in London and will hope that it will sweep them towards victory and winning the title. Gareth Southgate surprised with a return to an array of three brakes, with Kieran Trifaire favored in the squad over Bukayo Saka. Phil Foden who was in doubt due to injury, was left out of the squad like Ben Chillwell and Ben White.
Italy have been unbeaten in their last 33 games in all competitions, during which they scored 86 goals and conceded just 10. This is the best streak in the history of the team.
England counts 12 games without a loss and has never been beaten at Wembley in 90 minutes in a major tournament.
The only time it failed in this stadium was in the Euro 1996 semi-finals, so current coach Southgate missed the crucial penalty in a loss to Germany.

0: 1 to England!
Wow, what an opening.
Italy brought up a corner, the defense went far, Shaw took a breakaway, the ball came to Trifaire in the Italian extension area and his elevation met the foot of that show, shooting close inside.
Perfect eruption
