Today, the Libyan authorities imposed precautionary measures for two weeks to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

And the Libyan News Agency, WAL, stated that Prime Minister Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba issued a decision to close cafes and social event halls for a period of two weeks, and prevent funerals and weddings and the use of mass transportation to confront the spread of the epidemic.

Libya, like the rest of North Africa, is witnessing the spread of a new wave of the Corona epidemic, which requires taking strict precautionary measures to confront it.

In Tunisia, the epidemiological situation is witnessing a noticeable deterioration with the increase in dangerous cases, as the number of people infected with the Corona virus who are undergoing treatment in government and private hospitals has risen to 4,374 people, including 631 patients who are being treated in intensive care departments, and 153 others are subject to artificial respiration.

In the latest toll recorded by Tunisia, 9,286 new cases of the virus were added, and 194 deaths, bringing the total number of infections to 491 thousand, while the number of deaths reached 16,244.
