MK Walid Taha (RAAM) said tonight (Sunday) that his party had reached agreements with the coalition, according to which decisions reached in the coalition negotiations would be implemented immediately. "In the coming days we will witness significant decisions on many issues related to Arab society," Taha stressed. This, after a potential political crisis was recorded earlier today, after Taha announced that the RAAM plans to boycott votes on laws in the plenum until further notice.
Taha's announcement of the renewed summaries came after meeting with Cabinet Secretary Shalom Shlomo.
The meeting was held with the aim of resolving the gaps and tensions between the party and the coalition, and formulating a timetable for the realization of the coalition commitments, including the decision to regulate the unrecognized Bedouin localities and budget commitments.
In an attempt to appease the RAAM, the government also approved in a telephone poll tonight the transfer of responsibility for the Bedouin administration from the Ministry of Economy to the Ministry of Welfare - a week earlier than the original date set for the vote, according to the coalition agreement.

In addition, the coalition also decided to postpone the discussion in the organizing committee where they were supposed to vote tonight on the establishment of permanent committees in the Knesset, the composition and identity of their chairmen, in an attempt to reach agreements with all coalition members and opposition factions.
The decision was made at the request of Knesset Speaker Miki Levy, who is expected to hold meetings on the subject, and in the background, a RAAM protest against under-representation compared to the joint list in the Knesset committee's division.
Meanwhile, Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas made it clear in an Arabic statement that any contact between the coalition and the members of the joint list takes place in coordination and understanding with Ra'am. "Ra'am is pushing the government and ministries to make practical decisions for Arab society and what happens between "The coalition has nothing to do with the common - neither near nor far."

Earlier, coalition officials said that Taha's announcement of the boycott of the vote came after the latest document of the division of committees in the Knesset was distributed, which was to go up for approval in the organizing committee that was supposed to take place today.
According to the document, RAAM had under-representation compared to the joint list in significant committees such as the Finance, Constitution and Internal Security Committee. In the Finance Committee, RAAM had one MK compared to two representatives, while in the Constitution Committee and Internal Security Committee RAAM has no representative at all. The joint has one representative.
