Al-Shaar Police Department in Aleppo arrested two people, one of whom stole a house and plucked mobile devices from citizens and sold them to the other person.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the Shaar Police Department had arrested a person for picking up a cell phone from a citizen in al-Shaar neighborhood in Aleppo.
The ministry indicated that the arrested man confessed, during his interrogation, to entering a house in the Salah al-Din neighborhood and stealing a sum of one million and one hundred thousand Syrian pounds and gold jewelry, in addition to picking up cellular devices from citizens while they were in crowded places in the city of Aleppo and selling them to someone else.
The Ministry confirmed that the second person was arrested by the Criminal Security Branch in Aleppo, and during interrogation, he confessed that he had purchased and sold the stolen devices from Anas.
The ministry pointed out that the necessary control has been organized against the two arrested, and they will be duly brought to justice.
