At 1:11 pm today (12th), a number of citizens reported that a fire broke out in a unit in Block 2, Lvyou Nga Court, Tsing Yi.
According to online footage, a middle-level unit at the above site caught fire. The fire was raging. The fire burst out of the window and gushing out a large amount of gray and black smoke. A long line of fire fell out of the window and hung in the air. Fortunately, the fire did not spread.
The firefighter was called to the scene and dispatched a hose and a breathing apparatus team. 100 neighbours needed to be evacuated. The fire was put out at 1:45 pm. There was no one in the unit and no one was injured in the fire.
The fire and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
