The death toll from the fire that broke out in an isolation center designated for Corona in a hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate, southeast of Iraq, has risen to 36.
In an interview with Alsumaria News, a security source said: 36 deaths, 30 injuries and suffocation were recorded in the fire of the Corona Isolation Center.
The source quoted the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Kazem Bohan, as saying that three oxygen cylinders exploded as a result of the fire.
A previous toll indicated the death of three people and the injury of 14 others.
