The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 622,845 deaths out of 3,473,153 infections, followed by India with 408,792 deaths out of 30,873,907 infections, and Brazil third, with 533,488 deaths out of 1,9089940 infections.
