Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed that the demonstrations taking place in some regions are an attempt to create chaos and instability in the country.
Canel said in a televised speech today in Cuba that they do not want the welfare of the people, but the privatization of health and education and the application of neo-liberalism, and that inciting this kind of chaos in the exceptional circumstances of the Corona epidemic is a greedy and unjustified act.
Cannell pointed out that the government has every will for dialogue about the real causes of the conditions facing the country, and said, "We will not allow any counter-revolutionary person who receives money from American agencies to cause instability in the country."
Cannell called on Cubans to take to the streets to counter US-backed attempts to destabilize the country.
Kanel also denounced the American embargo imposed on his country, calling on Washington to lift it if it really cares about the interests of the Cuban people.
Cuba has been subjected to an unjust economic embargo imposed by the United States for nearly 60 years due to its policies rejecting the attempts of American exclusivity and hegemony.
