Death toll from collapsed building in Florida rises to 94

The death toll from the apartment building collapse in Surfside, Florida has risen to 94.

Reuters quoted Miami Mayor Daniela Levine Cava as saying today that the death toll has risen to 94, noting that 22 people are still missing.

She pointed out that searches are still continuing, but no survivors have been found after the collapse of the building on the 24th of last June.

An earlier toll indicated that the death toll had risen to 86, after a number of bodies were recovered from the site of the collapsed building.
