The activities of the exhibition of rural women's products, organized by the province of Quneitra in cooperation with the Directorate of Tourism and the Rural Women Department, began today in the exhibition hall in the town of Khan Arnaba.

Quneitra Tourism Director Hamza Suleiman Bin told SANA reporter that the exhibition aims to display and market the products produced by the family and sell them directly to the consumer, breaking the mediation cycle, and thus creating small projects whose revenues will return to the family and contribute to improving their living conditions.

Director of the Rural Women's Department in Quneitra, Reem Al-Mubarak, pointed out the importance of shedding light on the markets of rural women's products based on the quality and safety of products, calling for marketing these products in a way that contributes to achieving an economic resource for the family.

Ghada Al-Bassar, a participant in the exhibition, indicated that she participates through food products that the town of Hatra is famous for, such as figs, cherries and raspberry syrup, while Sana Al-Homsi, who participates in cheese and dairy products, pointed to the need to establish a permanent market for these products that combine heritage and nutritional value and provide job opportunities and material income for many families rural.

The four-day exhibition included jams, honey, dairy, cheese, Arabic ghee, saj bread, roses, natural juices, flowers and medicinal plants.
