Today, Iraqi security forces killed an ISIS terrorist in Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq.
Alsumaria news website quoted a statement of the security forces as saying that the Office of Combating Crimes in Tal Afar affiliated to the Nineveh Police Command Directorate, and after obtaining information and through follow-up and research, was able to arrest the dangerous terrorist known as “Abu Yousef Assad Security” in the “Al-Yarmouk neighborhood.” in the city of Mosul.
The statement added that the terrorist was working to move explosive devices inside the city of Mosul, in addition to his work as the head of the so-called oil committee for the organization's treasury during the period of the terrorist organization's control of the city of Mosul.
The Iraqi forces had earlier eliminated a terrorist, arrested six others, destroyed hideouts and seized weapons in different regions of Iraq during operations to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization.
