Chief Secretary for Administration Li Jiachao, Secretary for Security Tang Pingqiang, and Commissioner of Police Siu Ze-yi, today (12) at the Hong Kong Youth Award Scheme Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po, hosted the launching ceremony of the Junior Police Call Summer Camp.
In his speech, Tang Pingqiang said that the Juvenile Police Call Project has been committed to nurturing young people to become future leaders, enhancing their awareness of law-abiding and social responsibility, and allowing young people to realize their potential and contribute to society.

The theme of this year's Junior Police Call Summer Camp is "Youth Leaders. Fight Crime Partners". It will be held from July to August and will provide a total of 15 adventure training day camps for more than 1,200 Junior Police Call members and school leaders.
Through diversified training, the activity will allow young people to step out of their comfort zone, enhance their resilience, teamwork and leadership skills, establish positive values, and spread the message of fighting crime to young people.
In his speech at the ceremony, Tang Pingqiang said that the Juvenile Police Call Project has been committed to nurturing young people to become future leaders, to enhance their awareness of law-abiding and social responsibility, so that young people can realize their potential and contribute to society.
