Driving up too fast and too close: A woman from Dubai underestimated the speed of the Blomberg lightning bolt - and rammed her own husband.
Bad Tölz
- The Blomberg Blitz is one of the large and popular attractions on the Tölzer Freizeitberg.
This summer toboggan run on rails has been winding its way down the Blomberg over 1,300 meters since 2008.
A great pleasure for children, but also adults.
For a 46-year-old vacationer from Dubai, however, the fun ended early on Saturday afternoon in the Tölzer hospital.
The accident occurred at 1:45 p.m.
As the Tölzer police reported in their press report from the weekend, the 46-year-old tobogganed with her family with the Blombergblitz towards the valley.
The woman seems to have underestimated the speed of her device, however.
Besides, it opened up way too close.
When the husband in front of her braked briefly, the woman's toboggan crashed onto her husband's.
According to the police, she injured her collarbone.
After the first aid, the tourist was taken to the nearby Asklepios City Clinic by ambulance.
Her husband was uninjured in the accident.
