Ansbach - On Monday morning (July 12th) there was a serious traffic accident on federal highway 13 near Weidenach (district of Ansbach *).
A 52-year-old driver had a fatal accident and another was seriously injured.
The picture that was presented to the emergency services was like a battlefield.
Two cars were destroyed and the street was lined with metal pieces.
How exactly the accident came about is currently still the subject of investigations.

At around 6.40 a.m., a VW Golf came into the opposite lane and brushed against a truck loaded with rubble. Then it collided head-on with the truck behind it.
Due to its evasive maneuver, the truck loaded with rubble skidded and hit the opposite lane.
There the trailer tips over and the rubble is spread across the roadway.
A 52-year-old driver of a van was in the opposite lane at the exact moment and could no longer brake in time.
He crashed into the skidding truck and was so badly injured in the impact that he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
Truck drivers suffer shock - 22-year-old comes to the hospital in an ambulance helicopter
According to the police in Middle Franconia *, the truck drivers involved suffered a shock and were physically uninjured.
The 22-year-old golf driver was flown to a hospital by a rescue helicopter with serious injuries.
"The B 13 will be closed in both directions until well into midday due to the recovery of the accident vehicles and the clearing up of the rubble scattered on the lanes," said the police report.
