On Sunday, a young woman from Munich died in a serious accident on Lake Achensee.
A couple from the Miesbach district was injured.
Miesbach / Achenkirch - According to the police, the Munich woman was on the B181 at about 2:25 p.m. shortly after the end of the Achensee near Achenkirch.
Despite the solid line she wanted to overtake another vehicle, then noticed an oncoming vehicle and collided with the car to be overtaken.
Then the oncoming crashed into her driver's side.

The young woman's Audi was thrown over the car in front of her, overturned and split in two.
The rescue workers were presented with a terrifying picture: the front was here, the rear there.
The Munich woman was reanimated immediately, but died at the scene of the accident.

A couple from Hessen and one from the Miesbach district sat in the two cars involved, the latter also in an Audi and 62 and 58 years old, according to initial findings.
The occupants of all vehicles were seriously injured in some cases and taken to the Agatharied hospital or Schwaz.
The B181 (Achenseestrasse) was closed for over three hours.
The volunteer fire brigades Achental and Achenkirch with 50 emergency services, two rescue helicopters, several ambulances from the Schwaz district and Germany as well as the police and towing service were in action.
