Instead, there is frustration.
"Not that much comes from those we wanted to reach," Söhl reported when asked by FT.
The line has been activated since last Thursday, and the phone has been ringing continuously since then, but only a handful of people have registered for an initial vaccination.
"Above all, people call who want advice on vaccines or want to reschedule appointments - even if it's only about four days."
Söhl: "That's not what the number is for."
Söhl emphasized that he understands people's concerns.
But one is not an outlet for the frustrated or a contact for medical advice.

Over the weekend, only 80 to 100 people registered via the portal.
“That is poor,” says Söhl.

Then Söhl hopes to reach students who currently have exams and only want to be injected afterwards - with regard to vaccine reactions.
