A 19-year-old Germeringer was the happy owner of a driver's license for one day.
But then it was over.
The young man himself was to blame - for an almost unbelievable action.
Germering / Munich - Instead of taking it easy, the driver license holder let it rip right away.
He raced through Munich at 120 kilometers per hour.
A civil police patrol noticed the car that the driver was driving ruthlessly through the city in a grossly illegal manner.
Now the young man was sitting in front of the district court in Fürstenfeldbruck because of prohibited car racing.
One of the police officers who caught him in August 2020 described at the hearing that the 19-year-old was not just driving too fast.
He kept changing lanes and overtaking other road users.
At an intersection, turning right, he endangered another car because he cut through just in front of it.
The defendant was embarrassed to have his own car
The driver license holder was on the way in his father's car.
He had borrowed the BMW specially - with a trick.
Actually, he wasn't allowed to use the car.
The father was convinced that the car was way too fast for his son.
Then the offspring tried it with the mother.
It softened and allowed the exit.
Papa's BMW and his son's driver's license were finally confiscated that night.
The 19-year-old actually had an Opel Corsa himself.
"But that was a little too boring for me and embarrassing," he revealed in the dock.
The young man admitted his guilt.
“I admit everything.
That was stupid of me, "he said and asserted:" I learned from it. "It turned out, however, that the public prosecutor's office had further charges against him - among other things because of another car race.
Germeringer without a license for almost a year
The Germeringer has been without a license for almost a year.
The big question was how much longer does he have to go without his driving license?
The prosecutor demanded that he would have to go without it for at least two years.
The defense attorney considered six months to be sufficient.
The juvenile judge ruled that he must not be given a new driver's license before a year has elapsed.
The 19-year-old also received a youth sentence, which was suspended.
It wasn't just behind the wheel that he had broken the law.
The Germeringer had thrown two fist-sized stones from a moving car in Munich in autumn 2020 - one in the direction of a passerby.
However, both stones did not hit the woman, but a car.
Damage: 3000 euros.
Defendant has already committed several offenses
The young man and two friends had stolen empties from a beverage store in Maisach and turned them into cash.
The trio had collected 210 euros for this.
One of his accomplices was already 24 years old.
He was sentenced to a fine of 450 euros (30 daily rates of 15 euros each) under adult criminal law.
The third in the group, also 19 years old, was sentenced like the Germeringer under the juvenile criminal law.
He has to do 16 hours of social services and three counseling sessions with the youth welfare service.
All three cronies had a previous conviction or had one or more entries in the education register.
