He was injured so badly that he had to be hospitalized, according to a press release from the Regensburg * Süd police.

What happened?

At around 5 p.m., a 29-year-old was on his electric two-wheeler on the way into town.

Apparently he was so distracted by his cell phone that he hit a parked car and fell.

He was admitted to a Regensburg * hospital for treatment with minor injuries.

The inattentive road user is now threatened with a fine of 100 euros for using the mobile phone while driving.

But that's not all: He also has to pay for the property damage of several hundred euros to the parked vehicle.
