The forum, which was organized by Al Thuraya Real Estate Development Company and Kami Renewable Energy Company, was held in Villa Rosa Hotel and several villages in the western countryside of Homs over a period of six days, during which the participants presented their artistic experience through drawing, in the presence and participation of the villagers.

The forum concluded today with an art exhibition at the Cultural Center in Marmarita, which included about 30 plastic paintings and sculptural works produced by plastic artists during the forum.

The plastic artist Issam Darwish, who comes from Damascus, considered that the forum and the exhibition serve art and embody the continued communication between artists and the civil society in these villages, and it shows the beauty of the nature of the place and its reflection on the psyche of the artist and his paintings.

He indicated that he participated in two oil paintings on Dahab paper, in which the state of love embodied in the female and nature is reflected.

The artist, Neamat Badawi from Aleppo, participated in an oil painting that tells of a girl from the Wadi Nadari region, with the scene overlooking the castle of the fortress in a style close to realism, and another painting that tells of the village and the woman.

Odette Deeb, Director of the Cultural Center in Marmarita, pointed out that “Dialogue with Color” carried the fragrance of the place and the charm of its nature and body through the hands of artists who presented in their paintings a variety of human and aesthetic topics.
