Since Monday there has been the possibility in the two vaccination centers in the district to be vaccinated spontaneously every day at certain times.

Bad Tölz / Wolfratshausen

- The employees of the two vaccination centers in the district have to spend a lot of time waiting these days.

The refrigerators are full of vaccine, but too few women and men come to get an injection.

That is why the District Office has simplified the procedure.

Since Monday you can come spontaneously at certain times.

As a result, there was a little more activity again on Wolfratshauser Gebhardtstrasse.

Before the vaccination center opened at 9 am, “there was even a little queue,” reported medical assistant Uschi Schott.

However, those willing to vaccinate did not need much patience.

"We have eight vaccination booths open," said the deputy head of the vaccination center.

"A very good response"

Shortly before the end of the "open vaccination consultation", which lasts until 11 am during the week, the staff at the vaccination center had drawn up a good 100 syringes.

“A very good response,” says Schott.

She estimates that half of them were first vaccinations.

Around 50 people registered for a second vaccination in advance via the call center.

Among them was, for example, a 71-year-old Geretsrieder who did not want to miss the opportunity.

“I have my second appointment with the family doctor next week, but I'm not there,” he said in the tent in front of the vaccination center, where everyone has to stay for 15 minutes after the injection.

“I am convinced that it will help,” he said, in favor of getting vaccinated.

At the beginning of June he received the vaccine from Astrazeneca.

“I tolerated that well,” said Geretsrieder.

The second spade didn't hurt either.

On Monday, the vaccination team administered Biontech in Wolfratshausen.

Tuesday to Friday there is Moderna and Astrazeneca.

Schott: "We are happy about everyone who comes," says the medical assistant.

The rush in Tölz is limited

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday there was not a big crowd at the Tölz vaccination center on Schützenstrasse, an elderly couple had just gotten the vaccination and were on their way home.

Another man waited for his vaccination certificate to be issued.

However, the on-site vaccination team reports: "There were already more people there on this Monday than last." but they cannot say.

Already last Thursday there was more than usual.

“The word got around that there are enough doses.” However, the capacity limit is far from being reached. “We could vaccinate a lot more,” says one employee.

It is noticeable that a large number of people who have received their first vaccination from a family doctor or another doctor come for a second vaccination.

As reported, it is now also possible to only have the second vaccination carried out in the center if you have already received the first injection elsewhere.

Spontaneous vaccinations

are always possible in Wolfratshausen at Gebhardtstraße 2 or in Bad Tölz at Schützenstraße 19 from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prior registration online at www.impfzentren.bayern or by calling the call center on 0 81 71/3 86 36 10 is not necessary, but it makes the process easier.
