Further development could arise, especially in the north: The building committee was now dealing with the master plan for Roggersdorf.

But it was more of an interim result.

Holzkirchen

- A few years ago, 98 people lived in Roggersdorf; this year there are 122, and the number is rising. If the Holzkirchen community follows the framework plan for the Roggersdorf district, the current status of which has now been presented to the building committee, then in 15 years there could be around 200 residents. The municipality is currently working with the planning association for the outer economic area of Munich (PV) to develop a master plan that could serve as the basis for future changes to the development plan (we reported). A master plan is an informal planning tool to which the municipality can legally bind - but does not have to. But for Mayor Christoph Schmid (CSU) it is clear: "He should give us orientation for several years."

Part of the plan development is the involvement of the Roggersdorfers. In 2019, therefore, a public participation took place, in which the residents recorded their wishes, as Kathrin Undeutsch from the PV explained. Accordingly, the Roggersdorfers appreciate the village shop, their village center with the pond, but also the orchards and the surrounding nature. Many would like a faster internet and better snow removal. Undeutsch emphasized that there is also a desire for moderate growth. The question of growth had arisen more and more after the construction of two apartment buildings. But the situation has calmed down, reports client Hans Köstler: "In the meantime, many people come to me and say how nice it has become."a master plan is currently being drawn up. Among other things, this provides for building to be permitted primarily in the north of the district, while the south remains as the outskirts in the current dimensions. Undeutsch outlined the possible construction of single and multi-family houses on open spaces northeast and northwest of the village center. In addition, the existing agriculture could result in several residential units if a conversion is requested. This is planned for the long term, explained the urban planner, and discussions with the farmer were ongoing. The master plan is not yet ready, the discussions with the landowners are ongoing, as became clear at the meeting. According to Schmid, they wanted to present the interim results to the committee "due to the long time axis". He described citizen participation as important, but: “That was also exhausting.” Robert Wiechmann (Greens) emphasized that there was already a development plan in Roggersdorf. It should not give the impression that politicians want to double Roggersdorf now. Schmid nodded: “We don't want to give in to the settlement pressure that our region has.” That is precisely why it is important to deal with the master plan. Martin Taubenberger (FWG) sees this as a guide and praised the involvement of the population. He hopes that Roggersdorf will remain a living village,in which you don't just see seniors and children on the street. The committee voted unanimously for the continuation of the process, which will ultimately result in a master plan.
