The American company Google has introduced new tools for its (Drive) application for the desktop version to synchronize and transfer files and photos.
According to the technical (Engadit) website, the new Google tools will be compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems for various desktop devices.
The site stated that Google changed the name of the application to become (Backup and Sync) instead of (Google Drive) or (Drive File Stream), as the new application combines the best parts of backup and sync in the two previous Google applications, enabling it to download and sync photos and videos via Google Photos either via cloud storage or in the device's internal storage.
The user will then be able to copy the drive files to their computer while copying the files stored locally for faster access.
