For its last edition in Seine-Saint-Denis, the Fête de l'Humanité brings out the heavy artillery.

The organizers unveiled some of the headliners on Tuesday.

And the announcement of the arrival of the Marseillais from the rap group IAM did not take long to ignite social networks.

The festival will take place on September 10, 11 and 12 at La Courneuve.

Its three stages will also welcome the singer Alain Souchon, the groups Boulevard des airs and Tryo, the Marseillais Soso Maness and the energetic Louis Chedid.

You will have to wait until July 21 to find out the names of the other artists who will perform there.

"We are working to install a vaccination center in the party"

For the twentieth year in a row, the festivities will take place on the Aire des vents, located at the southern tip of Georges-Valbon Park, as well as on an adjacent space, in La Courneuve.

In 2019, 400,000 people took part in the festival.

But this year, only 40,000 visitors per day will be able to take advantage of it to comply with the current gauges.

For this 85th edition, the surface area of the festivities has therefore been reduced, going from 40 to 16 hectares.

“The event will necessarily be symbolic given the context, announces Patrick Le Hyaric, president and director of the L'Humanité group, which is organizing the festive and political event.

Following the announcements from the President of the Republic, we advise participants to have their health pass in order.

We will provide masks, hydroalcoholic gel and our medical service will be strengthened.

We are even working to set up a vaccination center at the party in conjunction with the health authorities.

"

The "support vouchers" that will allow you to attend the celebration will be posted on the dedicated site in ten days or so.

For each donation, one euro will be donated to the Secours populaire.

From next year, the Fête de l'Huma will leave Seine-Saint-Denis.

The land that hosts it will be under construction for the future media village for the 2024 Olympic Games. "We were forced to change location," recalls Patrick Le Hyaric.

The Fête de l'Huma 2022 is due to take place at the Plessis-Pâté air base, in Essonne.
