Takuba's soldiers are not used to the light of great days or to marching.
Their foreign comrades even less: the parade of July 14 is a French specificity.
But this year, their action in the Sahel will be in the spotlight.
73 members of the special forces who make up this task force will open the march on Wednesday morning.
They will descend the Champs-Élysées with a scarf on their faces: the special forces ensure their anonymity to preserve the discretion of their operations.

means saber, in reference to the operation Saber of the French special forces still engaged in the Sahel.
The operation has been officially in operation since December, although the first troops arrived last summer.
After being suspended due to political tensions between Paris and Bamako, operations resumed in June.
