At about 10 o'clock in the morning today (13th), the police received a report stating that a man floated and sank off the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter and was suspected of being drowned in the sea.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and rescued the 60-year-old male victim. The rescuers confirmed that he died on the spot.
The police are investigating the case and tracing the identity of the deceased, temporarily listing the dead body for processing.
