Engineer Hazem Ajjan, director of the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the set of figures and indicators of development in the industrial city are positive and promising, and they are on the increase and steadily despite the difficult circumstances, as research is being conducted to secure more services for investors and facilities nominated to enter into production, in addition to strategic steps that were manifested in the start of implementing The fairground, which has been approved as a central city for exhibitions in Aleppo, in order to market local production and see the production of the city's industrial facilities.

He pointed out that work is continuing to secure craft exchanges in the industrial city, where the study has been completed to establish 500 craft exchanges and work to be allocated by the Craftsmen Union. Labor housing projects are also continuing, as the Public Housing Corporation has been allocated an area of ​​258 hectares.

He added that the number of productive facilities in the industrial city reached 705 facilities, the most important of which are the textile industries, which constitute 40 percent, followed by engineering, chemical and food industries, where there is a great demand for investment in them, at a rate of 200 investors annually, in addition to the entry of 100 facilities for production each year, while the number of building permits granted during the year The past has 250 building permits, and work continues on them until today, and all of this constitutes a group of elements that attract investment.

The company is for a group of mechanical and engineering manufacturing industries through 13 production lines, part of which was manufactured locally within the company, in addition to a group of experts and trained local engineering cadres associated with the University of Aleppo in order to reach a high quality product with international standards.

He added that the main production hall is dedicated to the manufacture of construction equipment and contains all construction requirements, starting with the quarry and its machinery, including crushers, screens, conveyor belts, then lines for manufacturing sacks of different sizes, fixed and mobile, as well as automatic and semi-automatic block presses.
