Malaysia and Indonesia recorded a new record increase in Corona virus infections during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the Malaysian Ministry of Health that "the total number of corona injuries rose to 855,949, a daily increase of 11079 injuries."
The number of deaths also rose to 6,385 after 125 new deaths were recorded.
In Indonesia, the Ministry of Health recorded 47,899 new cases of the virus, the highest increase since March 2020, bringing the total cases to more than two million and 615,529, while the number of deaths reached 68 thousand after 864 new deaths were recorded.
